Wii Fight Night
We were tipped off to a super secret event at a super secret location in San Francisco. It involved Nintendo Wiis and it was bloody. None of the four rules of Wii Fight were broken as far as we know.

[…] This was so embarrasing I had to post it. A select group of thrill seeking nerds gathered at a secret location for a night of Wii boxing. In the battle of the former ‘ist editors, I took Ben to the final minute of the third round, but got KO’d, and apparently it was captured on film by Eddie for GETV. Niall also took me down. As I joked to Irina, “What I need to do is some training. Wii heavy bag, Wii jumprope, Wii jogging…” […]

[…] Well, I broke three out of four… kind of. In any event, I kicked Ryan’s butt, so it was all worth it! See my victory interview on Geek Entertainment TV’s video of the event. Hopefully they’ll invite me back after this blog post. […]

Sorry about that last one.
Awesome playing on the projector. We had a similar hook up at our office last week. Not nearly as much press coverage though.
If you liked that, this might be funny to ya…

[…] Some geek got together and started up a Wii Fight Night club at which the Geek Entertainment TV crew was able to poke around and shoot some footage of the many fights that went down. Even Engadgeteer Ryan Block got some Wii Fighting in with his companion Cnet’s Veronica Belmont. Of course, she won. Is that how it always goes though? You think you’re good at something, like baking cookies or cooking pies, and then your wife/girlfriend is all, “I’ve never done this before so it might not taste good”, but then you taste it and it makes you want to cry because you realize that all those years you spent in France for that cooking apprenticeship means nothing to anyone and that those were 12 years of your life you’ll never get back. Never…Happy Valentine’s Day! Source: [GeekTV] Feel free to spread the love…These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. […]
